Ravens QB Depth: Baltimore Hunts Trades After Jackson Injury
Baltimore is reportedly targeting backup quarterbacks from Chicago, Denver, and Arizona to fill the void left by Lamar Jackson's thumb injury.

The Baltimore Ravens are looking for a new quarterback after their starter went down with a thumb injury.
Lamar Jackson hurt his right thumb on the first offensive play of Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills. Bills linebacker Greg Rousseau hit his throwing hand. Doctors expect Jackson to have surgery and sit out the rest of the season on injured reserve. He played in a 36-10 loss that left the team without a healthy starter for their next game.
Baltimore's other options are also banged up. Backup Tyler Huntley left the game with a toe injury. Rookie Joe Fagnano managed ankle and foot problems for the second half. The team does not know if either man can play against the Jacksonville Jaguars this Thursday.
Sports Institute reported that Baltimore began talking to other teams about trades. One name on the list is Chicago Bears backup Tyson Bagent. He knows the Ravens offense because he worked with offensive coordinator Declan Doyle in Chicago. The Bears might hold onto him because they trust him as their backup.
The report also listed Denver Broncos quarterback Sam Ehlinger and Arizona Cardinals veteran Jacoby Brissett as possible candidates. Brissett might be easy to move since Arizona is looking to clear out veteran players before the trade deadline. The Ravens have not made a deal yet. They still have not decided who will start on Thursday.
